Commissioner Dickinson resides in Spokane, Washington. Super Lawyers named her a “Washington Rising Star” in 2006, 2010-2014. In 2005, she was selected by the Washington State Bar Association as a fellow for the WSBA Leadership Institute. She is the owner of Dickinson Law Firm, PLLC, where she currently works as an attorney. Prior to this, Dickinson served as a law clerk in the Western District of Washington U.S. Attorney’s Office, Office of the Washington State Attorney General, and as an attorney other law offices. She also works part-time as an Administrative Law Judge for the State of Washington, and as a tribal court judge in various jurisdictions.
Commissioner Dickinson is active in her community and has served as a legal advisor to the Japanese American Citizens League – Spokane Chapter. She has served as a board President on the Northwest Justice Project Board, Spokane Washington Women Lawyers, Spokane County Young Lawyers, and has served on community boards such as Rotary Club 21, and the Martin Luther King Family Outreach Center. She is currently President of the Asian Bar Association of Washington and member of the Washington State Minority and Justice Commission. In 2010, she was named a representative to the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates and is still serving as a Delegate. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Washington.
