Lori Wada Presentation at the Korean American Chamber of Commerce On-going effort needed to support the economic development as well as narrow the gap with the Korean business community. Continue dialog to share, educate and identify the business opportunities with state government. Timely and user-friendly information sharing with business owners were strong message received.
Lori Wada Prescription drug labeling to other language Able to make connections with Dr. Brain Park at U of Oregon who leads the same effort in Oregon. Hosted a conference call with Nora Coronado who leads the CHA and Dr. Park to share information and progress made up to the date. This effort will be making a fast progress as the Oregon state has done a much needed ground work. Dr. Park is willing to share the progress with us.

Ekkarath Sisavatdy Miss Lao Washington Lao Community Service Center 2018 Pageant I represented CAPAA as one of the honored judges of the pageant. I spoke to the educational achievement gap that persists in the Lao Community.

Ekkarath Sisavatdy Southeast Asian & Pacific Islander Health Education Summit Community is working to create a summit focused on physical health screenings, Healthcare career pathways and mental health issues specifically for the Southeast Asian and Pacific Islander communities.
Ekkarath Sisavatdy Samoan Arts and Academic Competition (SAAC) This is the 4th Annual Samoan Art’s and Academic Competition – a grass roots initiative addressing the educational opportunity gap through visual and performance arts. The community support led to a sold out Tacoma Dome Exhibition Hall where money was raised for PI scholarship.
