Celebrate how water shapes culture with ECOSS at the 2018 Water Festival on July 28 from 1:00 – 7:00 PM at the Duwamish Waterway Park.

The 2018 Water Festival will lead with a performance by Lucha Libre Volanica. Highlighted at the event will be cooking demonstrations of Cambodian and Latino cuisine that focuses on healthy eating at the Duwamish Rivers and how to safely prepare fish.

Showcased will be Asian American and Pacific Islander performances to tell the story of water, ending with a Cambodian lantern launch. Featured guests and performers include Aleksa Manila, Anuhea Coubertier, the Hmong Association of Washington, the Khmer Student Association of the University of Washington, and Taiko Kai at the University of Washington.

ECOSS (Formerly Environmental Coalition of South Seattle) is a non profit that aims to deliver environmental solutions that meet the needs of businesses, people and nature across Washington state.
