The Educational Opportunity Gap Oversight and Accountability Committee will be meeting on July 21 at Highline Community College to engage with others about closing the opportunity gap for Washington State students from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm. The event is open to all.

Things they’d like to know:

  • What are some of the existing or emerging issues in education?
  • What are some ideas or recommendations for strengthening our education system?
  • What’s working? What’s happening in the community that you’re excited about?
  • For school and district staff or CBOs, what would you be willing to do to help close the opportunity gap?

Directions:

From Interstate 5: Take exit 149 if you are coming from Seattle or 149B if you are coming from Tacoma. Proceed west on Kent-Des Moines Road to Pacific Highway South. Turn left (south) onto Pacific Highway South. Turn right (west) onto South 240th Street. Entrances to East, South and Administration parking lots are on the right. Entrance to North parking lot is off 20th Avenue South.
