2017 Ethnic Legislative Reception
The State Commissions on African American Affairs, Asian Pacific American Affairs, and Hispanic Affairs, as well as the Governor’s Office of Indian Affairs, invites you to the 2017 Ethnic Legislative Reception on February 7 in Olympia.
The event is an excellent opportunity for community members to meet the governor, state legislators, and appointed officials as well as board members and representatives from the state ethnic commissions and the Governor’s Office of Indian Affairs. RSVP for the reception.
2017 Legislative Priorities
The board members of CAPAA have approved the Commission’s priorities for the 2017 legislative session. Priorities include supporting legislation to close educational opportunity gaps, provide equitable access to healthcare, and supporting economic growth for API communities.
