The Washington State Department of Commerce’s Small Business Resiliency Network connects small businesses to trusted community messengers who can help them navigate resources, apply for grants, find translations, and more. These organizations provide access to culturally and linguistically relevant information to non-English speaking and business owners of color, who are far less likely to receive information about those programs even as they face disproportionately higher rates of closure.
