The Pacific Islander Health Board of Washington is hosting a Know Your Rights Immigration Training on Thursday, May 25.

Immigration attorneys Kripa Upadhyay and Steve Tanijo will lead a training about immigration issues impacting Pacific Islander, immigrant, and refugee communities such as immigration rights, what to do in case of an immigration police raid, and an overview of the criminal justice system and deportation.

The Pacific Islander Health Board will also present resources for emergency preparedness in Pacific Islander communities.
