On December 7, 2017, join the Asian Pacific Islander Coalition (APIC) and the Washington State Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs (CAPAA) in reviewing changes and activities to policy and budget from the 2017 legislative session. The Legislative Report Back will be centered on issues that directly impact the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities in the State of Washington.

Be sure to use this opportunity to connect with community leaders and legislators on topics of education, the economy, civil rights, immigration, and police accountability. Representative Sharon Tomiko Santos, Representative Mia Gregerson, and Senator Bob Hasegawa are the featured legislators who will talk about high priority issues they tackled this year and will work on in the 2018 legislative session. Additionally, representatives from the Office of Law Enforcement Oversight (OLEO) will be attending to address questions on police accountability.
