APAs Hold Legislative Day Rally
Legislators could literally hear the voices of more than 1,000 APA youth, elders, and community members who gathered in Olympia for the annual Asian Pacific American Legislative Day organized by the Asian Pacific Islander Coalition. APAs met with state representatives, senators, and the Governor about education, health & human services, and economic and community development.

Legislative Update for the Week of 3/2-3/27
Today is the last day for bills to pass out of fiscal committees. Next week, legislators will be spending most of their time on the floor of the House or Senate voting on bills. Bills have until 5 p.m. on March 11th to pass the House or Senate, otherwise they are unlikely to pass this session. View floor action via TVW.
