2018 Rising SEAs is a FREE one day conference organized by the Southeast Asian American Education (SEAeD) Coalition in collaboration with local, state, and national partners. Gov. Jay Inslee today appointed Toshiko Grace Hasegawa as executive director of the Washington State Commission on Asian and Pacific American Affairs (CAPAA). She replaces Michael Itti, who departed the position earlier this year. Hasegawa currently serves as communications manager for King County’s Office of Law Enforcement Oversight (OLEO), where she manages community engagement and serves as the staff liaison to its community advisory committee.
