    Updated April 17, 2017 The UW’s American Ethnic Studies Department was successful in its search process and will bring on two new faculty. AES will begin the process to request authorization to conduct a third faculty search next academic year.     The Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs is pleased to announce the selection of the 2017 Legislative Intern, Anuilagi Nguyen.   Anuilagi Nguyen is CAPAA’s Legislative Intern for the 2017 Session. She is the daughter of Samoan immigrants and attends The Evergreen State College as a first generation college student.
