FIGHT (Formerly Incarcerated Group Healing Together) is hosting the FIGHT for Families: Letters Home on March 10, 2018 at the Asian Counseling and Referral Services to celebrate the resilience of families and loved ones who are impacted by incarceration of Asian and Pacific Islander people.
The event is FREE and will include dinner, performances, and dialogue honoring the struggles of having a loved on incarcerated. FIGHT hopes to discuss as a community how to come together to offer more support. The event is family-friendly and childcare will be provided at the children’s activity center hosted by the Seattle Public Library. It is encouraged for those to attend that are currently being impacted by incarceration and deportation in the API community.
