Announcing Reynaldo Pascua as Honoree of CAPAA’s Vanguard Award

We are pleased to announce that our Honoree to receive CAPAA’s Vanguard Award at our Sapphire Anniversary Celebration is former Commissioner Reynaldo Pascua. Reynaldo is the current President of the Filipino Community of Yakima Valley. He has been engaged with CAPAA it was first established in 1974 and has since remained a tireless champion for the broader Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders here in Washington State. As a proud Filipino American, Reynaldo led the great effort of bringing forth the true story of the first Washington Filipino settlers and he has committed his life to raising awareness of the issues impacting Asian Americans, Pacific Islanders and immigrants through community organizing, agitation, and legislative advocacy.
